    Re: Eurovision Song Contest

I thought the idea of Eurovision was to get a completely talentless act on stage and let them make complete arses of themselves?.

Considering how idiotic the whole concept of Eurovision is, I think they're the perfect choice.

The voting system is so stupid. The country with most neighbours wins usually. And since we were in war with 4 out of 6 of our neighbours, we don't have any chance.

We won only once, in '89... Before the wars.

Yep, the Eurovision song contest is basically patting your neighbours on the back and giving them points, regardless of how good *cough* the song is.

I will definitely be watching it this year though, as seeing 'Jedward' make complete fools of themselves is something that cannot be missed

I gave up watching the contests a couple of years ago when I could accurately guess who would vote for who and turned it off in disgust.
